LG Ally to contend ‘aloha’ to Verizon in mid-May?
Well, LG’s Moorestown-based, Moblin-running GW990 may sadly be no some-more, though it looks similar to a association will be bringing another sincerely impressive-looking handset to US shores: a Android-based LG Ally. According to Android Central, it will be alighting upon Verizon around the center of May as well as, if it looks the tad informed, it’s because it’s assumingly simply the US chronicle of a phone we’ve well known alternately as a LU2300 or Aloha (though it does seem to have undergone a couple of pattern tweaks). Details have been differently light, but it’ll as if container a same 1GHz Snapdragon processor as a LU2300, along with the 3.5-inch AMOLED touchscreen, the sliding QWERTY set of keys, the 5-megapixel camera, as well as Android 2.1.
[Thanks, Erik]
Update: Android Central has tracked down an Iron Man 2-themed blurb on YouTube clearly suggesting a Ally is entrance shortly (if you recall, LG had the large tie-in with a strange Iron Man, as well. Viewers have been speedy to conduct over to lg.com/ally to check it out, though there’s zero utilitarian there — nonetheless. Follow a mangle for a full blurb.
