Electronic Arts ready to welcome Android, though wishes it had an App Store

Thought EA had no love for Android or Windows Phone 7? Not quite — it’s just the existing market opportunities that the association doesn’t appear to suffer. CFO Eric Brown told a Deutsche Bank 2010 Technology Conference which a diversion publisher is essentially quite bullish upon Google’s fast popularizing mobile OS as well as skeleton to ‘position the mobile business’ accordingly, though first he pronounced this: “I think the subsequent big positive way to pull better growth in mobile will be a deployment of an App Store homogeneous for a Android handling system.” Since we’re fairly sure Brown would be wakeful of the small thing called a Android Market, you figure he’s talking about the same puzzling reason which caused Gameloft (which produces the series of Android titles already) to circumvent the Market in favor of their own online store. One thing’s for sure on a EA Mobile front: a company really needs to update their smartphone games page to support the diminutive bit more than a “Google Android-Powered T-Mobile G1.”
