The Apple gossip which keeps on giving — a touchscreen iMac — has just been since another shot of monger extract. DigiTimes (who else) cites attention sources who explain again that Sintek Photonics is shipping Apple touchpanels to sample for use in the destiny 20-plus-inch iMac. Specifically, a panels have been of the projected capacitance type (same as iPhone/iPod touch/iPad) as well as confederate a hold sensor with the glass cover for marked down density as well as weight while exhibiting “good” observation angles and lightness. While the picture above, extracted from an Apple obvious, gives us the idea as to how a touchscreen iMac might be used, you remain unconvinced of the advantages (drawing stylus, anyone?). Then again, we’re sure Apple has lots of whacky products in house for R&D so because not a single more.
