T-Mobile G2 difficulty roundup: loose hinges, blank storage?

You know a cavalcade — brand-new handset, new problems. It’s pretty much inevitable which sporadic reports of bugs and hardware problems are starting to begin popping up by day two of any major phone launch, as well as certain sufficient, complaints have been starting to circulate on two biggies for a G2. First off, some of a phones have been shipping with loose hinges; the most viewable sign is that land it upside down causes a shade to cling to down, though perhaps more annoyingly, land it during some angles causes a shade to snap shut if it’s open — still not the huge deal given many humans don’t use their phones upside down, though it seems similar to they could’ve tightened up a couple of springs to prevent this from function.

Secondly — as well as some-more strangely — at slightest some G2s in the field appear to have half a betrothed storage space of 4GB, clocking in at the total of 2GB, which only happens to be a amount betrothed on a phone’s Desire Z doppelganger. We’re not sure how which kind of mix-up happens… though if it’s legit, T-Mobile’s got to take behind the units or suggest really large microSD cards to influenced business, if you ask us. More upon this as it develops — and let us know your experiences so far in comments.
