Netbooks have been being ‘cannibalized,’ says Windows GM
Tablet sales affecting netbooks? Seems everyone’s been suggesting which lately, from Best Buy to ASUS, with most of the censure placed upon Apple’s iPad for mining a opening, so to verbalize. Add Microsoft to that carol — specifically GM for Windows Product Management Gavriella Schuster. Referencing a pinkish netbook sitting in between her as well as Seattle Post-Intelligencer’s Nick Eaton, Schuster said, “These have been definitely getting cannibalized… these are really the second device. But they have been removing cannibalized” (SPI’s importance, not ours). Given Windows’ prevalence in a netbooks, she’s probably got some hush-hush numbers that tone her perspective. Then again, speaking of color, perhaps she only doesn’t similar to pinkish.
