Verizon’s Pantech as well as LG LTE modems trickle out in ad form
Verizon’s betrothed a 38-city LTE launch by a finish of a year, and it looks similar to things have been ramping up — you were just sent this ad for a LG VL600 and Pantech UML290 4G USB modems. We’ve seen a VL600 during a FCC as well as in the furious before — it’s a dual-mode CMDA / LTE modem that’ll work flattering most anywhere Verizon has coverage, whilst the UML290 has a note about tellurian capacity “entrance shortly,” so we’d assume there’s a GSM radio tucked in there as good. Both sticks look like they’re flattering huge, which isn’t uncommon for first-gen hardware similar to this, though we’re hoping which rumored third Novatel stick is LTE-only as well as a bit slimmer. We’ll see, we’ll see.
