iTunes gifting grifter cleaning out British bank accounts
On January 25th, The Register reported which one detrimental bloke saw his bank comment emptied through the series of iTunes monthly present purchases sent to an different Hotmail account. He was sensitive of a theft by an e-mail from Apple, saying his gift squeeze had been reliable, though alas, he’d already been taken to the balance of £1,000. It’s been over the week given the story appeared, but accounts continue to pour into an Apple client support forum, echoing the accusations made to The Register — and, child are people insane. Apparently, customers looking Apple’s assistance have received a pat reply which sounds awfully informed: terminate your credit label and inform a charges to your bank. We’ve yet to hear of this happening anywhere outside a UK, though we’re still interested to see how the great iTunes heist shakes out. If a questionable Hotmail account is sucking you dry, we wish all the sorted details.
