Nikon D4 can become quite an interesting SLR camera
According to Nikon Rumors, one of the latest SLRs from Nikon, D4, will be equipped with port Thunderbolt. This information should say, the informal, but note, it began long before the MacBook Pro 2011 and the presentation of Intel Thunderbolt, so it's probably not connected with these events.
Recall that until recently was known Thunderbolt codenamed Light Peak. This technology enables data transfer at speeds up to 10 Gb / s (two times faster than USB 3.0 and 12 times faster than FireWire). Moreover, using this interface can be connected to the system or device equipped with a port Thunderbolt, numerous external devices (up to 6). These devices yet, but Intel and its partners have promised that they would soon appear.
Currently only MacBook Pro 2011 support the Thunderbolt. If Nikon D4 will be equipped with such a port, users MBP 2011 will have the opportunity to pump high-definition pictures on their system almost immediately. However, while no one can say when this camera will be released.
