HP CEO Leo Apotheker (Leo Apotheker) confirmed at a recent event HP Summit, TouchPad tablet goes on sale in June 2011. First, the device will release to the U.S. market, and then around the world.

Recall that the tablet has a 9.7-inch multitouch display with 1024 x 768 resolution and is based on dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with a frequency of 1.2GHz. The choice will be offered a model with 16 and 32GB permanent memory.

Among the rest: 1.3-megapixel camera in the front, an accelerometer, a sensor light, the module A-GPS (3G models only), Wi-FI, Bluetooth, microUSB port and 3.5mm jack for headset. Battery capacity TouchPad is 6300mAh.

Prices on the tablet will start with 499 dollars.
