Sony prepares Netbook platform Chrome OS
Sony intends to market the first Netbook to Chrome OS platform this summer, writes Tech Connect Magazine. According to preliminary data, the new design will be identical to Google Cr-48, but it will have a smaller (11.6 ") screen. The idea is that it must enter into a family of VAIO.
First Netbook Sony with Chrome OS will be built on a platform with a single-chip NVIDIA Tegra CPU (System-on-Chip – SOC) T250. It will have 1 GB of RAM, 6 GB internal Flash memory and a roomy enough battery to run up to 8 hours without recharging. His weight will be about 1 kg.
The exact date of release of the first Netbook Sony with Chrome OS is still unknown.
